Some people have a glow about them. A spark. A sense of joy sitting right under the surface of their personality. It isn’t only joy either. It’s happiness and laughter and smiling and love, all at once.
You know someone like that. And if you ask most of them where it comes from, they’ll tell you they love Jesus and he brings it out of them.
Fish Tacos
When I met Nicole and Estevan over fish tacos, because if you have to have a meeting it’s best to have one over tacos, I could see the glow immediately.
It was obvious when Nicole looked at Estevan, smiled, and told me why they wanted to get married. More than that, the joy in the room got faintly overwhelming whenever Estevan laughed about some part of their story. Big belly laughs that rolled out of his chest and honestly made me want to keep making him laugh.
By the end of that meeting it was clear they loved each other, and equally clear they loved Jesus.

The Wedding Day Confirmed It
Their families were excited. Their friends were thrilled. And I ended up cutting more than half of the good things the minister had to say about these two, purely to fit the film into a sensible length.

And Then There Were The Hashtags
It wouldn’t be a wedding in 2015 without a good hashtag. Or six. The recommendations on offer were:
- #marryingmolinar
- #nicoleandestiefortherestie
- #buildinganestiewithestie
- #beourguestevan
- #houseboyforever
- #nicoleyguacamole
Take your pick when you share the film.

Shot on the Sony FS100, a Canon 7D and a Canon 5D Mark II. Edited in Premiere Pro CC and coloured with Magic Bullet Looks.
