I love hearing how people find my site and end up watching my videos.
Usually they say they were searching for a wedding videographer on Google, or they saw a friend’s wedding film I made and are getting married soon themselves, so they looked me up. However they get here, a lot of them tell me the same thing: they started watching some random couple’s wedding film, and then they teared up, and laughed, and felt the whole day along with two people they have never met. And then somebody they know walked into the room and asked why they were having an emotional outburst over strangers.
That is my favorite thing about this job.
How Candace And Tyler Found Me
Candace and Tyler were getting married at The Heights Villa, and while they were searching for wedding films they came across Melissa and Mason’s film, which I shot at the same venue back in 2011. They completely fell in love with it and wanted something just like it.
I was happy to oblige. What I made them has the same feel as Melissa and Mason’s, but with two and a half years of improvements as a filmmaker baked in.
The Heights Villa, Houston
The Heights Villa is one of those Houston venues that does a lot of the work for you. Warm walls, arched doorways, good afternoon light coming through the courtyard. We got their first look in the covered walkway out front, and the reception happened inside with the dance floor wide open in the middle of the room.
