Ever since I filmed an event for the International Special Events Society last October, I’ve fallen in love with Austin and wanted to film more weddings, events and stories there.

Thankfully the guys at The Traveling Photo Booth decided to throw a holiday themed celebration at Chateau Bellevue in Austin, marking their first year of business in the city, and they wanted me to film it.

Gold paper bowties and glasses on sticks laid out on a black table beside Christmas baubles and a tinsel wreath
Props laid out and waiting. Bowties, as promised.

Savvy Events handled the decorations and the overall look, so of course the whole thing looked awesome. There was a band, a DJ, a photographer, plenty of free drinks and food, and even bacon covered doughnuts. An ice sculpture fountain also made an appearance. Basically everything you need for a classy and awesome party.

The inside of a photo booth showing the camera lens ringed with the words LOOK HERE, and a countdown on the screen below it
Inside the booth itself, mid countdown.

It was great to be there and celebrate Christmas and New Year with other people in Austin.
