This Spring Break, I had the awesome experience of attending Beach Reach again. For those of you that don’t know what Beach Reach is, I recommend either watching my Beach Reach 2009 video or visiting Threads Media’s official Beach Reach page. To give a brief overview, around 400 college students around the country traveled to the largest Spring Break hotspot in the country, Panama City Beach, Florida, and gave free pancake breakfasts in the mornings, free van rides at night, and essentially served the 200,000 other college students that were there.
After the van rides ended at around 3am, most people would go to bed, but a few friends of mine and I decided to pull an all-nighter. Around 4am, Curt Vernon, Mike Coates, and around 20 friends and myself decided to sing some praise and worship. Curt has a few songs that the Lord gave to him that he hasn’t had a chance to record yet. I decided to do him a favor and record a few of his songs. That is how you see the video that is before you. I hope the video gives you as much encouragement and joy that it gives me.
