If you seek opportunities to serve God, he provides them.  This has never been more evident to me than this past March when I attended a mission trip to Panama City Beach, Florida, called Beach Reach.  This ministry bills itself as a week of servant evangelism to Panama City spring breakers that are desperately searching for meaning to life.  In reality, it is so much more than that.  For me, it was a complete shifting of my mind in both the way I viewed my own faith, as well as how I shared it with other people.

I have already tried to explain one part of the shifting of my mind in my Beach Reach: The Power of Prayer post.  My regard of the way that prayer works as well as how I should approach it is completely changed.  It is more than just a voice conversation with God.  It now encompasses every way possible to praise him and be in his presence.  Speaking, singing, thinking and prayer encompasses a lot more than I previously thought possible.
