Who Is Matt?

  It had rabies.  I swear it had rabies.  Ok maybe not rabies.  I'm used to having wild animals around my house, but they usually don't get close enough to eat out of my hand.  This one deer thoguh, that my family affectionately calls "mama", is proving that animals can be tamed.  Well, that is if you have a lot of food available for them to eat.  Check out the video of me feeding "mama" after the break!

You feeding them makes them domesticated and they start relying on you to feed them. If you promote that behavior then you'll only make them and their offspring weaker by diminishing their ability to hunt and forage for themselves. I know. You're afraid the mama deer will starve and possibly die. Sorry, but you're going to have to accept the fact that animals die. It's the way of the life. You manipulating the natural order can lead to devastating results. Deers will overpopulate (although they already have with the lack of predators -- another problem humans are responsibly for).
